Hi everyone,
Just wanted to drop in real quick to warn you that the Winter Magic outfit's velvet shirt stained Gwen's arm horribly!!!
There's stains around her wrists, a black "seam" running down her arm, and black stains on both underarms!!! It looks like the stains come from the thread at all the seams.
I was so upset last night when I noticed it, those who know me here on the board know how perfectly I like to keep my dolls, so you can just imagine how I was last night! Noticed stains around 1 am, stayed up until 3 am trying everything to get them off!! Nothing worked! This has never happened to me before!
This morning I was still so very upset, was going to try more things to try to get it off but fiance said to call AG and see if they know of any way to get it off. They didn't! Said they were very sorry and are sending me a new Gwen for replacement. I don't really want a new one, as I like mine, but alas, I can not live with the stains, I have still not stopped thinking about them. I have problems, I know.
But just a warning to you guys as well! Wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else's precious dolls!

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear of this! I have heard of the Radiant Rhinestone outfit staining as well and today I plan on taking the Winter Magic Outfit off of Kiana and put it onto another doll. I will see what happens! <a little nervous>

I'm sorry you're having trouble with clothing color ruboff. I would be upset too! Good luck with removing those stains.
On a side note, I just took note of your web site. It's fantastic!

I am so sorry to hear about your doll!
We really need that list of items that stain. Maybe if we submitted it to AG they could figure what it is in their dye/material that is doing this.
Pretty soon people are going to be afraid to buy certain things.

It's really strange how sometimes it happens with an outfit for some and sometimes it doesn't. Like some people said their Radiant Rhinestones outfit stained but mine didn't and I kept it on the doll for a very long time. I was shocked when I saw the stains!!! I guess I should have rinsed the outfit out first, but I usually don't do that, as they are new, don't want to risk damaging them in any way.
Ria, hope they can help with Scarlett, I would definitely ask them to. They will also refund you for the outfit if you want too. I decided to keep mine and try to rinse out all the loose dye because I really like the outfit.

Our Kailey wore the outfit for a day or two around the holidays and did not get stained. maybe it has something to do with the humidity as well?
